Dear Members of the Board of Education,
The parents at Waverly ES understand that our school is currently at a utilization rate of 82%. We also understand that new students will be assigned to Waverly in Fall 2013 as a result of the redistricting plan that is pending approval by the Board of Education.
We believe that the proposed redistricting for Waverly Elementary School must make sense.
1. We favor a decision that keeps our existing Waverly community intact. 2. We welcome new students to bring Waverly to target utilization to help alleviate overcrowding in neighboring elementary schools. 3. We favor a decision that utilizes both Waverly and St. John's Lane elementary schools to help balance out capacity at Veterans.
