I object to the errection of this development. I feel it would ruin the area and be an eye sore for the local neighborhood. A seven storey high development would tower over the neighbouring houses and cause a dark shadow over the area. I feel the roads in that area are already congested and adding more flats to the area will increase this issue. This will also result in increased air pollution.

7 Story high building containing 50 flats? Some of which are earmarked for temporary residence meaning socially mis-fits? It is obvious that the authority do not have any regards for people living nearby. This proposal is totally out of character for the area. Why do you have to ruin every area of the city with such monstrosities. If you need to put housing then why can't it be similar to Sentinel Court houses nearby (Two story high and NOT FLATS) which are in keeping with the surroundings. BETTER STILL bring back the waste tip. It is badly needed in the area

Far too big and high for the space. Not in keeping with the area. Traffic bad enough without 50 homes.

As CF5 residents, we support the petition for a variety of reasons. Traffic is already severely congested in the area. Yet another housing development will only exacerbate the situation. Furthermore, the provision of residential parking will probably turn out to be insufficient, leading to on-pavement parking in surrounding streets, adding to the inconvenience and misery of residents in those streets. Finally, are we to create yet another unsightly architectural blot on the landscape? A seven-story development is far too high. Let's have the facility back as a refuse tip.

Now that access to town from the west is restricted and requires a longer car journey to take people with mobility/learning problems into town, it would make more sense to provide a much needed disabled service at the station. My emissions are increased rather than reduced because of the restrictions in front of the castle. People with disabilities are always over looked and town is becoming less and less accessible. Please consider this overlooked group of people and use the site to work with the railway company to provide a disabled travel service. Along with park and ride for shoppers, tourists and town employees. It will also be useful for buggies.
A 7 storey building will remove privacy for surrounding residents, and be an eyesore. It’s not in keeping with the area and will reduce house prices. I live opposite a block which houses residents from all backgrounds. They’re all great. The building is ugly and not well maintained by the housing association and if this block is an example of what you plan to do then it will just go to ruin very quickly. Not 7 storeys. 2-3 is plenty. Consider the minority. The disabled people. Where is your inclusion policy on this.

Seven stories is too high. Convert it back to an amenity tip.

Concerned that once again the only option appears to be build more flats, even though there are many flats available over at the mill together with a proposal for more affordable housing in the same location. We certainly do not need a 7 story block of flats or retail units overlooking our houses & gardens and feel more proposals need to be considered that are in keeping with the local area and needs.
