Waungron Road former Recycling Centre

Very concerned about parking issues and the calibre of residents that will be accommodated at this building

I am opposed to this development. The traffic is bad enough and there are also enough flats in the local area that are under occupied. Council need to think about the local people for once!

We should be able to discuss options !

I am opposed to this development.

The original recycle centre at Waungron was good. The £1M investment made it even better - albeit for only a very short period. Please listen to your local residents - you are elected to represent us, not to impose your will on us. We live in the area and, actually, pretty much know what would be beneficial - and what would not!

I do not believe that our current or the proposed infrastructure is suitable for the Council's future plans.

So out of sympathy with the area, totally a overdevelopment not good at all

This proposal represents a gross overdevelopment of the site! Would the council / developers be cynical enough to submit plans for a 7 storey building, knowing full well local residents would object. When in fact what they really want is a 3 or 4 storey building, which would appear a compromise on the original scheme and appease one of the major objections of residents.

The flats will cause extra congestion and parking problems at an extremely busy junction. People who live locally already have to put up with extra parking from commuters using the station as a park and ride. These flats should not be built.

Let local people have a say on local developments

There's no parking available for existing residents, where are the 50+ cars meant to go?!

We the undersigned, are calling on Cardiff Council, not to proceed with the current proposals until residents of Fairwater, Llandaff, and the wider community have been given a choice on a range of optional schemes. As the proposed scheme is unacceptable in its current format. We are opposed to this development at this location.

Strongly opposed to this building proposal. Wider community should have a say in any future plans - we are the ones currently living in the area and therefore best for input on such a matter.

Please don’t concrete over Cardiff, bring in some green space to urban areas...

A junction already gridlocked; best plan is to put another 50 flats there -genius!
