We have enough traffic coming through Fairwater as it is. We don't need more! Really need our recycling centre back

Strongly oppose to the size of this development. The increase in traffic would be increased while works were going on and significant once built.

This is a huge overintensification of the site with zero consideration for parking which is already contended in this area. People will need to drive to site to work and shop from the retail outlets even if the residents do not have cars. Also I would expect some residents to require some visitation at home which also requires local parking. No local buildings are more than three storeys and so this will look completely out of place. I would be much happier with a scaled down development at half the size with the additional provision of onsite parking.

We do not need more flats /houses being built in fairwater ,this piece of land should be re opened as a rubbish tip to help the community .

This is absolutely not in keeping with the area being 2 or 3 stories taller than anything else in the area. There is also insufficient parking in the area already and traffic is already heavy on this junction and likely to get heavier with people diverting from the increased traffic from the llantrisant rd developments. This seems very badly thought through.

I live in St Fagans Road and I strongly oppose a seven story block of flats on this site and require any development to be in keeping with the character of the area

Totally the wrong type of scheme for this location. Further consultation is required. Recycling centre is a greater need.

The area has a terrible traffic system and these flats will add to the pressure immensely. Also they are too high for the area,no privacy for th surrouding residents

This development is not in keeping for the area. Concerned that would lead to increase in traffic which in the last 9 years in which I have lived here has already increased dramatically. I chose this area to live as family friendly this development could lead to an increase in crime and drug offences which will be detrimental to the area and house prices.

7 storeys of 50 flats is totally out of character for the area. Increased traffic flow to an already very busy and compact junction is extremely dangerous and environmentally damaging.

Whoever came up with this bonkers proposal clearly does not use this route to commute. This is an extremely renowned area for traffic issues plus a route to the Heath hospital. Why would this be beneficial to anyone?

Unless a solution for parking is proposed, this shouldn't happen. The space could be better used for the local community.

50 residential units at this site is excessive. Where will they park?! On our road, that’s where.

I do not want the flats to go ahead. I want the recyle centre back because the amount of tipping has increased significantly since it was closed.

A 7 storey building is not in keeping with the area will cause major congestion at this junction which is already an issue.
