7 storey flats would not be in keeping with the area. Also, the traffic would be horrendous with people stopping at the shop on Western Avenue and St Fagans road if you were to put one in the old Waungron Road trip. Makes sense to put it back to a tip under the current circumstances.

I think we need the recycle facility as its good to recycle and it would stop less flytipping around we dont need any more flats

I am extremely concerned about the proposed density and mix of this development. The former use as a recycling centre was a much used and needed facility. As a local resident I can attest to the current and ongoing issues with traffic flow, parking and inadequate sewerage/drainage. This is a small site at the crossroads of an extremely busy junction in an area which has recently, and continues to be surrounded by large scale residential development. The high rise design is also completely at odds with the existing housing stock, which will no doubt result in privacy issues/loss of light for neighbouring properties but will also be an eyesore aesthetically. Please reconsider.

I think it was disgusting that you closed the site with promises of reopening it and now you have other plans.. the local people need that site to dispose of rubbish

The site does need to be put to good use but these plans are not practical for current or future residents of the area. Parking is already an issue and it us not reasonable to assume that the 50+ residents of the apartments will not be car owners

The 50 planned flats are not in keeping with the local area and the bus interchange will create even more traffic.
Terrible idea. This will also create problems with parking. Fairwater Grove East and West are already extremely busy.

Amazed that the council think that this is an ethical site in which to house people. A tower block surrounded by main roads and a bus terminal. Are they not concerned about air pollution and quality of life for their residents? I doubt many people would choose to by a flat but the council obviously see it as a nice cheap plot for them to cram as many people on as they can. No care or consideration for the local area, already terrible parking, raid safety and congestion issues.

Please put a stop to this application, this area can not take any more traffic, we already have issues with parking and the surrounding area does not have capacity for 50 new cars.
