Getting out of Fairwater in the mornings to get to work is a nightmare it has got very bad with all the houses that have been built. Enough is enough

This area is a very busy area with traffic AM rush hour and PM rush hour to add a block of flats( 50+) would be heavy on traffic

This area is densely populated already and doesn't require further traffic problems that a hub and additional housing would cause. The recycling centre was very much used by the local community and with the already increased housing in the fairwater.. Radyr.. St Fagans area would be very much a priority if the council are serious about reducing ommissins... Reducing fly tipping and minimising additional unnecessary work to waste and refuge department of the council.

A 7 storey building at this location is completely out of place.
No parking - claims of low car ownersip in the area are wrong. Why should nearby residents have to put up with the occupants of this building (and visitors) parking in there streets?
Having a 'transport interchange' on this small site together with the accomodationsis not a good idea

Very much against this proposal.
I think we can all agree that there needs to be something done with the site but surely the democratic way would be to present a range of options for residents in the CF5 3. CF5 2 area to have their say.
The transport hub is not a bad idea possibly with more of a community resource with appropriate facilities to future proof the site as well as meeting current needs.
This proposal appears to be more of a quick win income generating scheme for the Council with complete disregard for the inevitable negative local impact for local residents (as others have commented).
Having resided in the area for more than 30 years I only want to see positive change. I fail to see the purported positive outcomes detailed in this proposal have any chance of being realised. It is very poorly thought through.
Opposed. Rethink. Other Options Needed.
Please listen to your residents i.e the people who have to live with your decision making and who fund and pay you.

I strongly oppose the development at the site of the old Waungron tip for several reasons, traffic on the junction is already very busy & I believe the access to the flats would cause further congestion. Both groves are particularly busy especially during the school drop offs and pick ups and parking in the grove is bad enough without having more cars needing to park. In addition to this the area is also frequently subjected to flash flooding.

Please consult the local residents about any proposals to build or change the layout of their community . I thought labour was for the will of the people not for gain!

We don't want anymore flat around here especially high rise ones which will look out of place. The roads cannot cope with anymore traffic and there will not be enough facilities for all the extra people. Leave well alone. Diane Norris.

I strongly disagree with the latest planning application submitted . I feel the local people are not being considered at all the traffic congestion would be a lot worse a high rise block of flats are not I keeping with the surrounding houses . I wish the site would be reopened as a recycling centre as a non car driver it’s impossible to go to the other recycling centres . I also think the land could accommodate a community hall where local groups could hold their meetings in , and possibly in the evenings there could be social attractions ie bingo nights , dance classes etc and possibly a youth club there is no where for the youngsters to go to meet safely . I am really also very annoyed with our local councillors !!!!! Why have a member of the public made this available for us to see where are the councillors about time we heared them and see how hard they fight this .
