We need an East to West north to South and express links to UHW to help traffic reduce standig traffic a cause of pollution. This won't help Cardiff .

Ridiculous thinking/planning

Far too big a development for the size of site. Height out of keeping with surrounding buildings Will put additional pressure on sewage facilities As no parking on development, will mean even more cars jostling for existing spaces in surrounding streets, causing potential obstruction

What idiot is responsible for suggesting this lunacy? No doubt the same person that closed our recycling centre and now wonders why fly tipping a problem in our leafy lanes? Is it even legal to try to insert a mini council estate into a private residential area? Who would live there? Indeed would it even be safe for their health, carbon emissions and all that. I vehemently oppose this farcical proposal on SO many levels! This area already chaotic with traffic and to add further congestion is unacceptable. I shudder to imagine the nightmare that this build would bring during construction alone, the heavy plant, lane closures and the miles of tailed back traffic seeing a 10 min journey home turn to 1 hour+ To try to hoodwink and fly under the 'Car free Zone' is laughable! We all know that a percentage of 55 tenants will be car owners and ALL of them will have friends/visitors...where to park? Our side streets already congested enough. This cannot be allowed to proceed! I now need to get husband to sign in as I need to continue with 'reasons why' and haven't gotten around to extra pedestrian lights, cycle/bus lanes that this crazy idea brings with it which would make it a nightmare to get access to park to front of my house, causing road rage and potential accidents.... Oh - and also haven't yet mentioned the 'eyesore' that a tower block would be (not in keeping with 'look' of surrounding 1930's Llandaff architecture) and the invasiveness it would bring to my own home/garden. Just used 100's of words to basically say: "I OPPOSE THIS!"

Closure of the recycling centre has led to increased traffic as all residents of Cardiff West have to traffic to Bessemer Road. The cost benefits of retaining it as a recycling centre would have been reducing emmisions and and furthering achievement of local recycling objective. A 7-story building is totally out of keeping with the local environment and would drastically increase traffic congestion. Rush hour traffic on St. Fagains Road is already approaching grid lock given the existing increase in housing developments.

The height of these buildings are quite unacceptable to the local residents. It will cause a drop in property prices causing a financial loss to us all.

I am objecting to this project for several reasons firstly the amount of traffic that this development will add to on an already busy main road. I believe that Waungron Park was closed due to the conjestion the site caused when it was used as a refuse centre so not sure how building 50 flats & a bus terminal will be any better. Also the area is frequently subjected to flash flooding making the sewers over flow into my rear garden & my toilets then become blocked & we are unable to flush them. I feel with another 50 flats this problem will only get worse.

It should be turned back into a recycling centre for all the residents it’s absolutely disgusting we’ve got a travel all the way down to Bessemer Road when there is one perfectly one on our doorstep

This development seems very ill-considered and unwise. Existing traffic congestion and parking problems will increase tenfold. To assume that no one will own cars is ridiculous and outdated! A 7 storey building is obscene and will tower over everyone and be so out of keeping with the surrounding area .

I believe this development is being placed in a totally inappropriate place. The congestion in the area is already problematic. The buildings do not fit in with the area. To put homes next to a fume filled road, next to a railway station and in the middle of a bus exchange is creating future health problems in my opinion. Not only pollution filled homes but the noise pollution will be awful.

Oppose a seven story building with limited parking.

What a ridiculous idea to think people will not use cars. We have lived in Fairwater Grove West for 52 years and parking has always been a problem.

Ridiculous to even think of putting residential homes on that site!
