In my opinion this is a ludicrous proposal. Waungron Rd is already busy & congested at peak travel times. This area is too small to warrant a development of this size and nature. This area & surrounding streets are already overrun with vehicles parking & access to UHW.

Parking around the area is already out of control. For example, people parking on the curb covering the cycle lane along St Fagans Road towards the train station. And double parking all along St Fagans Road, Norbury Road and finchley Road, turning these into single track roads during the day, making it difficult for current residents to move around freely and making it more dangerous for pedestrians having to cross the road, as drivers dart between spaces to get through. Adding potentially 50-100 more residents that would probably have atleast 1 vehicle would just make it rediculous.

I against the proposal of the development for the Waungron Cardiff flats. The traffic is already congested in the morning and afternoon too. Not only the parking will be the issue, it is about the safety of the families around. Why Cardiff council will not open again the Recycling Centre which the community actually need it?

I cannot believe the ineptitude of the council in this matter. The waste transfer centre was a well used facility that served a large area. The site has now been empty and unused for several years and to now look to build the pile of rubbish that is proposed is unbelievable, especially when the council is trying to make us believe that a couple of bus stops is an effective transport interchange. This is not what was originally proposed and cannot be considered as a transport interchange.

Sort it out. Been a non plot since they closed the recycling depot. Too small and traffic too busy for transport station. Would be nice to turn it back to a recycling plant.

This should be put back as a recycling centre, after spending over a million poud to make it one, it was constantly busy, the council have got this so wrong

I am petitioning against the building on Waun-Gron former recycling centre.
It will add a further impact to the traffic on a daily basis.
You have slowed areas down for better air quality / less pollution. But you want to overcrowd us with more properties and vehicles!!
So I am against this development

It was a valuable service and we don't need yet another block of flats when we have plenty of houses being built and other properties standing empty.

I am appalled at the council’s plans to build a 7 storey building in a residential area and feel they have a total lack of empathy for residents living in the area. No parking facilities which means additional problems for residents already living in the area and the increased pollution and traffic quill be significant. I strongly oppose these planes.

Completely against a block of flats being built in such a lovely looking area. Destroys the character of the area and will look seriously out of place. Not to mention there is no space for parking already and 50 more parked cars is going to cause chaos and dangers on the main road. Please re consider - the space could be used much more wisely...
