Disgraceful should never have shut the recycling centre.

I voted for tip to be kept open, waste of time that was,as I presume this will be too. Only way we will change things, is to vote labour out.

I believe the site is only suitable for one or the other, linked to transport or housing.

This seems to be poorly thought out. The development will undoubtedly result in increased traffic and consequently pollution in the area. Any additional residential development will also just add to the existing parking problems for residents in the area. There’s just too much development planned for this area and the current infrastructure won’t cope.

The current proposal is completely out of character with the area which is housing. How can you possibly think a seven story building is appropriate is beyond any rational thought. Very disappointed that the local residents and neighbours have not been thought about at all.

I am opposed to the current plans for the following reasons: 1) in an ideal world, reinstate the tip as the journey to Bessemer road is very busy and very polluting. Plus it will be a useful amenity for the Plas Dwr development If that is not possible then; 2) A 7 storey structure is completely out of keeping with the neighbourhood for miles around. 3) 50 flats will create severe traffic problems with the associated cars 4) Surely the Mill site with the proposed new station is a far better proposition for an interchange as there is more land for vehicle movements. This is a family area with several schools in the vicinity. It would not be in the public interest to grant planning for the proposed use. I strongly oppose.

Should be turned back to a recycling centre as residents in Cardiff are only allowed 12 visits a year while most other councils allow unlimited access.

Councillor Baldrick with another cunning plan!! A six story carbuncle is probably the most ridiculous idea this council has come up with in the 25 years I’ve lived in Llandaff. Massive support locally to bring back the recycling centre- ignored by the council. I understand common sense and supporting the existing local community is alien to this council, but please for a change - just listen.

The problem of increased numbers of vehicles will exacerbate an already existing problem

The traffic is already terrible trying to get out of fairwater in the mornings and coming back home, this isn’t the right place for these flats I really think u should reconsider this

Strongly oppose to this proposal. 7 storeys high is totally out of keeping for the area. Even in Ferry Rd, Cardff Bay the new apartment buildings are only 3 storeys high. The traffic is already horrendously busy, even during lockdown, this will obviously increase No parking required for 50 flats plus businesses? - all the occupants will do is to park in the roads in the surrounding area Another example of no thought to residents and because of lockdown regulations, residents unable to get together to discuss.
