Please don’t build a 7 story building behind my house. There are plenty of new homes being built 500 yards away on the old paper mill. This site should be turned into a conversation area or green space.

This is already an over congested area. Add to that the amount of antisocial behaviour and crime that is seemingly getting out of control I’m extremely concerned at such a highly concentrated volume of short term council housing in the area. The council and police need to be doing more to combat the behaviours without adding yet more trouble to the area.

dito = This is absolutely ridiculous to have so many dwellings on such a tiny piece of land. What is particularly disturbing is the total lack of parking and congestion on what is already a avery busy junction. Have we not got enough noise and pollution. I understand this will be a seven floor building - what a monstrosity to be placed in the middle of traditional style housing area. It appears that Cardiff Council would give planning permission to anything regardless of the impact on the community. With regards to retail, why do we need this when we already have good shops at Insole and Fairwater Green?

Not enough parking so residents will park up Fairwater Grove. Traffic will be bad getting in and out at rush hour.

It was bad enough when the Council closed the recycling site which has helped, without doubt, to increase fly tipping all over the City. Now this news is even worse. What is the matter with this Council? Why not make it a lovely garden for us all to enjoy with trees and plants to absorb the dreadful pollution. We already have lots of vacant office suites in Cardiff which could be used for the purpose intended and with covid and businesses shutting down there will be even more. Use what you already have and stop this utter nonsense.
