It's not the proposed use of the accommodation that is concerning it's the unsuitability of the site/location/traffic that makes it so unsuitable. People have to live somewhere and we do need more single accommodation in the City.

I understand the need for more housing and I’m not against houses/flats being built. 7 storeys is HUGE. My concerns are that the traffic pre pandemic was already out of control adding that many homes is going to exasperate it especially as they are expanding the school (which I do like). the flats will predominately be 1 & 2 beds. Temporary accommodation can bring its challenges. Will commuters who use the train station feel safe? I want to understand more about the proposals. We do need to address the housing crisis in the city that I know and the key to improved lives is stable accommodation. 7 storeys though? It’s like house building if tho e 1980’s... short sited and ugly

Absolute madness - traffic in the area is already appalling so these plans can only increase congestion, while a 7-storey building is totally out of keeping with the area. I oppose this plan strenuously

I strongly oppose this as it is already a very busy junction and as there is not adequate parking being provided cars will be parked in an already busy residential area.

This will over-develope the area leading to more traffic problems. Cardiff Council have got all their priorities wrong. Look after the existing communities.

An extra 50 flats in this spot is, in my opinion, ludicrous. The amount of extra traffic so close to the junction of Waungron Road and the A48, and the junction of Waungron road and Fairwater Grove West, along with the parking on surrounding roads that already have limited parking are just two reasons.

This is a dreadful idea to build 50 flats surely for safety and overcrowding of an already very busy area this shouldn’t happen

This is totally unacceptable. Not in keeping with surrounding area, no consideration for any parking for 50 flats on an already congested and dangerous junction. This is a HARD NO.

The road is already too busy and dangerous

The development will cause further trsffic congestion. It will also be detrimental to the quality of life to the local communiyy

This is the wrong space for a bus station - there are loads of unused less residential areas in Cardiff. 50 flats no parking - more offices when the central offices and retail is on its knees. The flats don't look like the rest of the area and no other options proposed. There could be so many other options that could work - why is this the only proposal on the table?
