I oppose this development and the Locals should be consulted before this goes to planning.. Parking will be a major issue to the local residents as there is no provision for this.

Surprise us - be sensible - plant trees!!
Why no consultation? I don't believe our local representatives were included in any discussions. Behind closed doors "negotiations"?
Traffic already a problem at this busy junction. Will the main feeder route be via Cowbridge Road or are Fairwater residents in for a shock?
A seven-storey block of flats?! Not in keeping with the area (even The Bay development blocks are "only" three/four storeys). Quite clearly members of the committee don't live here and have no thought for people who do.
Parking! Who in their right minds can think that a development like this wont need parking provision? Even when it was the site of the Recycling Centre residents had to contend with the problem of staff cars having to use the side roads.
Sorry to have to ask if this is really the right place for a development as proposed? Presumably catering for a fairly transient part of the city population, No amenities for the younger element
Please have some thought for the residents and their quality of life. An extra 10/12 buses an hour? Would you like that outside your door?
What about using some of the vacant buildings around Cardiff instead of the proposed intrusive development.? Why wasn't this need included in the plans for The Mill if it was so desperately needed?
We have been waiting well over 10 years for our side road to be resurfaced but not included in the budget as yet. Less of the grandiose schemes until the basics are sorted to our satisfaction please.

Only someone who doesn't know this area would even consider a large apartment complex to be appropriate. The junction is regularly highly-congested, exacerbated by Fairwater Grove West /East being used as a rat run which spills out right beside the proposed entrance to the flats. This is another example of build cheap, build high, forget about local infrastructure, and to heck with the local community .

The proposed 50 flats over 7 stories would be overbearing and create additional traffic issues on an already extremely busy and dangerous junction

I have lived in the vicinity of Waun Gron all my life and have never heard of such a ludricious suggestion in all my life. Come on Cardiff Council please think of your constituents - we don't need or want this accommodation in this area - fetch back the recycling centre which would be more advantageous to the local Fairwater / Llandaff residents.

Absolutely disgusted that the council has once again decided not to ask residents for their input. The recycling centre should never have been closed.

As a resident living just behind Waun Gron I have some serious concerns about these plans including commuting and devaluing the area.

Grew up in this area and the character of the community needs to be considered and any redevelopment needs to enhance the ambiance.

Are you kidding with this ridiculous plan? There are hundreds of flats in cardiff bay already suitable for this and already built! Not a chance in hell this is even remotely close to a good plan

This road is already significantly congested anymore development would exacerbate this further
