50 apartments with NO PARKING is a ridiculous idea! Adjacent streets will be totally jammed with cars from residents/visitors.
This project needs to be stopped now!

This will cause dreadful congestion and parking issues in the local area. It will be an eyesore towering above surrounding properties. Bring back the tip or beautiful gardens to reduce the carbon footprint

This doesn't make any sense for a number of reasons. Driverless zone, 7 story flats looking over gardens, where it is?! Ridiculous.

In 2007, Cardiff Council's Chief Environment Officer, reported that an average 59 micrograms of nitrogen dioxide were recorded around Ely bridge, which was 47.5% ABOVE the internationally acknowledged safe upper level. Since this report, there has been a DRAMATIC increase in traffic and hence pollution, with hourly figures travelling toward the site for proposed development, frequently in excess of 2,500 vehicles per hour! In addition, ensuing pollutants include brake and clutch asbestos, particulate matters, VOCs and sulphur dioxide as well as nitrogen dioxide - each unhealthy if not CARCINOGENIC. A recent survey indicated speeds exceeding limits. The road surface is not as noise absorbent as some can be, consequently the noise levels are high, diminishing, if not destroying, any quiet enjoyment of property. Council pollution figures are averaged across sites, concealing high level areas. It is DISTURBING that the project does not accommodate parking facilities! In addition, the proposal includes temporary residence - will this include accommodation social misfits or those needing rehabilitation; of course Fairwater police station is nearby to counter disturbances not currently encountered! It is unlikely the council will REDUCE RATES for those living in the vicinity to compensate for the inevitable reduction in property value and likely disturbance!
This is an UNACCEPTABLE PROPOSAL and if not withdrawn legal action be considered against those implementing the plan for negligence vis~a~vis damage to residents' health, which undoubtedly will arise from this DREADFUL, ILL-THOUGHT proposal.

Object to the current proposal for Waiungron Road recycling depot. Would have thought in the light of us having to recycle more reopening the depot would be a better option

I was only made aware of this proposal by the off chance of buying the 'Echo', yet I am only 250 yard [sorry metres] away from it. It's a totally inappropriate plan, riddled with problems, and consequences for those living close to it - which have already been highlighted. Let's see if democracy actually exists.

Totally opposed to the proposals for this development, and a seven storey building would be totally out of character for this area. Add to that the increase in congestion on Western Avenue and the surrounding roads, not only from the extra cars but also from the proposed bus depot, and this area-which is already a nightmare traffic-wise will be at a standstill. I can see parking will also be an issue. I’m not opposed to this area being developed, although I was annoyed when the recycling depot went (!) but more thought needs to go into it being the right development, one that compliments this area, and not just something to fill the space.
