I chose not to rent on Waterside due to the traffic on Pulaski St. If you make improvements, I'd consider leasing or buying there.

Want to ease congestion? Stop allowing city officials to construct an absurd amount of apartment buildings in such a small area.
The influx of New Yorkers and outsiders into the area is what 's dramatically increasing traffic at an outstanding rate. Widening the road or altering traffic patterns will not address the real issue which is the continued influx of commuters and new residents into the area. The input is greater than the output. Altering traffic patterns is a "band aid" solution. Get to the source of the problem by limiting the amount of people living in the area and stopping the construction of high rises.
The owner of the property on Pulaski may do what they wish with their land. Direct your anger at Stamford and the city officials for approving all of the high rises. The continued construction in such a small footprint of land is imprudent on behalf of the City - but they knew exactly what was to come. Their primary interest is money.
If you want to talk about road improvements, first talk about halting new apartments. The City of Stamford officials are to blame.

Traffic on Southfield going toward downtown/the train station/I-95 on any afternoon is backed up from the lights at Greenwich St. and won't be cured unless this entire plan is implemented. Please move on acquisition of the property holding up the plan.

I fully support the traffic improvement projects planned for Waterside and the South End. As a local realtor living and servicing the Waterside area, the traffic issue has become problematic for myself personally and perspective buyers considering the Waterside area. Please proceed with the project.

Waste of money. Widening the roads that lead to the narrow 2-lane bridge at Pulaski St & 2-lane underpass at Metro North/Greenwich Ave ..is not going to improve traffic flow. The 2 lane bridge & underpass will continue to bottleneck traffic, same as they do now

Should this project not be completed in a timely manner, the traffic will force us to move away from Stamford.

The congestion is indeed a noticable problem. I am in favor of the project to happen in full.

Please approve traffic improvements. I have owned a condominium on Southfield Avenue for 12 years and due to all the new multifamily "rental" housing - the quality of life has diminshed due to the traffic congestion. It takes us 30 minutes to get to downtown Stamford. A firetruck or ambulance would never get through in case of emergency.

If the owner of the property is not being reasonable with negotiations, please go forward with Eminent Domain. This area has needed theses improvements for decades.
