We have paid this water district for the 38+ years we have lived here...the recent increases to our water bill have been upsetting. And regardless of how we try to conserve water, the bills continue to increase. We used to have a 5-member household and now with just the 2 of us we pay a lot more than we ever have. I am against any flat increase and want to see my bill decrease when I make an effort to conserve water.

A rate increase at this time is totally senseless based upon the already inflated rates we been dealt in the past recent years.

I would have to be convinced that this was a proactive approach to improving the water system along with replacing outdated policies (2017 and they still only accept personal check!), and hiring friendly staff. Which I do not think is the case. Personally I feel like spring canyon utilities is ran like the wild west. In the 7 years I have been paying them I cannot remember any leaflets about conscientious water usage; education on installing HE appliances/toilets; reminding people about responsible watering of yards, watching for leaking faucets or running toilets, rebate for the use of HE appliances... all that to say I absolutely think if spring canyon wants to charge big dog prices than they need to act like one. I DO NOT SUPPORT THE RATE INCREASE! Shame on them for trying to force this on us.

NO to this rate increase. Cannot afford these outrageous annual increases. From 2008 until the Pinnacle Group and Stan Myers took over in 2013, the base water rates and gone up a total of $12.88. SINCE they took over, the base rate has increased $22.31--and now this? Again, NO. I would also venture to say that most people do not or cannot even drink this water without paying to filter it--it reeks more and more of chlorine--why? I watched as it took days to "fix" a water leak that they had done one day and then had to redo the following days--neighbors without water for 2 days and no credit on their bill--just back talk from the person on the other end of the phone. No, I cannot support this monthly increase.

I disagree with the rate hike. The current cost of water is ridiculous. Another rate hike with force people to move out of the foothills.

These increases are out of control and I oppose it 100%. My total bill is already $125 a month with very very very minimal water use being that the house is unoccupied. Within the last ten years it was a total of about $60 with heavy summer lawn watering and full time use of the house. As years passed by I hear this same "increase from upgrades" talk with increases that follow. I was warned it was going to increase and saw it increase so thought this had already happened, NOPE! I will have a water/sewer bill over $150 just to flush a toilet and wash my hands a few times a month. Even if these "upgrades" don't ever happen or have ever happened they are not going to wave the increases.

What we pay now is ridiculous, and all I have seen is increase after increase. I have never heard of anyone paying this amount for water and sewer. With no usage it’s now around $100 a month. Crazy!!

I was told by Spring Canyon last year that we were switching to City water to avoid rate increases. But our rates will be increased anyway? I would have preferred to keep our better tasting water if I had known this would be the outcome. I am also on septic and don't want to pay for sewer that I don't use.

Water bill is already too much! you all get enough money. Spend what you get more wisely . Don"t give all the money to the CEO"s. Do not give out huge bonus . the water is going up by 1/3 . no ,no,no,no . Shame on you!

Opposed to this increase without a clear proposal with cost benefit analysis. We have city water now to reduce cost and yet it continues to climb. Most of us are on septic why do I need to pay for sewer?

A single jump of this magnitude is insane and offensive. I'd need to see a fifty-point itemized list of these "improvements" before seriously considering this proposal.

I am a senior, single, female and can not afford an increase in my water bill. Will have to apply for assistance to pay any increases. I am a 30 yr + resident of HLE.
