Our state must pay attention to what water is available, including our aquifers. We need to look beyond an endangered species, and share water a lot more wisely than we did a hundred years ago. We irrigators can learn how, from Natural Resource Conservation Service. We don't need to grow the thirstiest crops, or waste water. And we sure don't need big lawns, huge homes, or golf course turf. (In 1900, San Diego hotel patrons played golf on a sandy beach course)

Pls allow the water to flow again. Pls tell the environmentalist that people are more important than the smelt. The smelt that are dying anyway. You are killing the livelihood of so many people. You are destroying your food supply.

The Federal Government should have no jurisdiction with regrads to water within the boundaries of a state and only mediator jurisdiction between states IF they cannot resolve the issues together.

I am running for Palm Desert City Council and want to make water part of my platform and educate our citizens. We can win this fight one city at a time but most local elected officials are just reacting to the drought and trying to conserve water and penalize its citizens for water consumption.

California has to address this travesty and open the water to the central and southern parts of the state.

We farm just under 3,000 acres and have 2 dairies. Water is our livelihood! Thank you for working on building more storage instead of letting it be wasted out in the ocean.

Common sense isn't as common as it use to be...Unfortunately, just another leftist example of wanting to "feel good" instead of "doing good". We've got to start calling out the source of our problems & why.

It is utterly ridiculous what has happened in CA...21 dams have been taken down because of unreasonable environmentalists' demands! We could find a happy medium to make EVERYONE happy so that humans and animals can survive together, but our CA liberals would rather see people suffer!

This is so sad - what happened to common sense! We need the farms and farmers and orchards - I hope these policies can be reversed.

What has and continues to happen is a major travesty which propagates serious social and financial repercussions of unfathomable costs for which I believe has been intentional and calculating by design of a select few with their hidden agenda as its driving force! It is well beyond time for everyone to emerge from the massive pile of manure that has been piled over us and see the light of day!
