This was our grandchIld that was hit by a car on Treetop Drive today. We would like to see an electronic watch or seed bumps put in place.

I hope you have success obtaining speed bumps and other safety measures for your neighbourhood. I have been attempting to work with our town and RNC about similar concerns in Torbay

Children give life to a family, please let them be safe by doing whatever is necessary. Children are NOT like cars, they CANNOT be replaced.

Children and their families deserve to live and play in a safe area and ALL drivers are responsible for creating and enauring a safe environment for everyone.

An electronic watch your speed sign should be put in place...

Speed bumps, traffic calming, and photo radar are NEEDED to properly enforce and get drivers to slow down already and pay attention! Start with Treetop Drive and expand it to all the other neighbourhoods! Automatic fines from photo radar would help pay the costs of enforcement.

50 km/hr is more like 65 km/hr for many ! A side street should not be more than 30km ! My heart goes out to you as I have a son around the same age ! It's ridiculous how petitions need to be signed by the public to ensure residential safety rather than the counsel and city officials making the right call!

I know speed bumps and what not may help a little but common sense is needed in and around towns, always, kids well be kids it's true but adults are suppose to be the responsible ones. if not don't drive.... it's gotten way out of hand with speeding motorists in around communities and not even speeding tickets well help much, impound vehicles etc do what it takes to make people learn speeding is not good enough. NO child or adult needs to be hurt or worse, Please slow down yoyu will still get there even if it takes 2 or 3 minutes longer at least you will arrive alive and no child got hurt. . thank you

Speed bumps seem to be the only answer. The bigger the better. The warning signs are not working

Speed bumps are needed on Treetop, Teakwood, Cypress, and Cheeseman. The speed (and carelessness) of drivers in our neighbourhood is out of control.

Something obviously needs to be done the poor child could have been killed has to be better speed limits and protection in an area with children. Hope he recovers poor kid.

We have the same problem on Cottonwood Crescent. People are driving way too fast and there are always children out playing....we are always concerned that a child is going to get hit by a car. The speeds are out of control.

If this woman says they need speed bumps then there must be a logical reason behind it! Hence the fact that her little boy could have easily been killed today! Pls address this matter! Thanks
