Drivers in this city are going way too fast. The city should be working on a speed reduction plan.

Why must tragedy happen before the City and other towns do these simple things? Unless it's in your own best interested you're not interested council? Not good enough.

This neighborhood is ridiculous. I have lived on teakwood drive for 13 years. The majority of drivers are speeding up my street doing at least 60 km some people more. It's makes me very mad. You can barely get out of your driveway here. They have erected a speed sign recently close to me and it seems to have helped a bit but not everyone is obeying. There should be camera's installed as well. Send them a ticket. Hopefully this poor little boy will be OK and we are praying for him and the family. Such a non nessassary accident. If people would use a bit of common sense.

Nothing is important enough to speed and drink and drive as looking out for children at play. Slow down people. Life is just to short, drive safe. Halloween is around the corner and people need to be cautious of their surroundings.

Hope the lil boy will have a speedy recovery,it could have been very tragic.Place Speed bumps and reduce speed, surely not that much work nor is it costly, BUT losing a precious lil one will be terrible.

Children , wherever they are, are precious and any sensible person would agree with you wholeheartedly even someone as far removed from your location as I am, it should have been an immediate issue to address, not suggest a petition. in my home city of Bootle, UK . there are speedbumps along every residential street where children play, in fact, on the very street I grew up on, though they weren't then, since it's so long ago...I was much impressed to see this when I returned for a visit. I hope you get a speed reduction in you "children playing " area.

All children have the right to play in a safe environment. Drivers shouldn't need a sign in a residential area, it should be common sense.

We need more signs and speed bumps in communities as well. I live in Swift Current NL and the traffic flyers through here like it’s a highway

I myself have a 18 month old son who is starting to run around and would be devasted if something ever happened to him. I think a speed bump should be put in place!
