A transfer station needs to be in an area already zoned for industrial. This is NOT an industrial area. If you rezone to industrial, that means that you will be allowing this to become a manufacturing area. You are robbing us of our sanctuary. This is a family community and is surrounded by residential homes in every direction. This will diminish our home values, increase traffic, increase heavy truck traffic (roll off trucks), bring flies and bugs, bring rodents and birds (which will transmit disease), generate loud noise, emit noxious odors (not only from the trash but also from the vehicles), produce toxins that will make us ill (including cancer, birth defects, respiratory disease , skin irritations, blood infections and genetic mutations), create litter in our neighborhoods and on the surrounding roadways, be dangerous for bicyclists and pedestrians, impact our air quality, impact the local infrastructure by destroying and deteriorating the roads. The health effects from exposure to hazardous waste will not be tolerated in this community. You will destroy our health, destroy our community, and cripple our home prices. This is NOT an area that will welcome you. We will NOT make it easy and we are ready for this fight. We have the right to quiet enjoyment without interference or disruption. A transfer station constitutes a dangerous and loud nuisance and destroys the quiet, peaceful enjoyment of our homes. I have lived in this community for 13 years and do not want my livelihood and all I’ve worked so hard for get destroyed by a trash facility.

This site is lower than Happy Valley Road/ 115th Ave intersection and will too visible to the neighborhood. Please pick another more remote site.

I am against this project in this location. As a resident of Vistancia Village, I do not think this will have a positive impact on my property value or those of Cross Creek.
