Nobody likes to hear long and boring texts on how our planet is dying , , but at some point in time we should DEAL ( Drop Everything And Listen) with the faint voice calling for our help.
waste disposal has been and still is a major threat to not only our planet but also to our lives. Did you know that:
1)We throw away 7.2 million tonnes of food every year, and more than half of it’s perfectly edible.
2)Humans now buy a million plastic bottles a minute. Most of this plastic ends up in the ocean.
3)It’s not just what goes in the bin that counts as waste water can be wasted, too. A single leaky tap in your house can waste as much as 5,000 liters of water a year. If we all fixed our dripping taps we could supply 120,000 people with a day’s worth of water.
So what do you say, would you like help me in taking the first steps to clean our planet?

I have been reading your stories about the plastic piling up in your own backyards and it feels like we are finally starting to acknowledge how bad this has become. I am currently working on a proposal for our local officials to tackle these waste problems because waiting for someone else to act is no longer an option.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one haunted by the sight of endless plastic washing up on our shores. It means so much to know that you are ready to stop ignoring the mess we have created.
