Lacrosse has truest changed my life with out it I'm so different. The friendships and the people I have met have been such a blessing. I want that for Washington as well.

I coach Varsity girls, JV Girls, and U15 boys in Wenatchee. I also started an indoor league over the winter

Been playing since 1996 in high school in the Midwest as a club sport, I would love for my kids to be able to play officially!

Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the country that can teach you very important life skills. It can help individuals gain admittance into college and create some of the best relationships possible. With more support from local high schools more students would gain these valuable opportunities.

LAX is an inexpensive game that develps many skills. Situational awareness, running, eye hand coordination and is a fast team game. Due to the structure of the teams on the field it gives many players a chance to participate in the play. By its nature this discourages domination by one player. Also although it looks rough, recent revisions to the rules detoxified the game, there is contact, however the big hits and head shots are no longer allowed. I saw very few injuries this season, most of them were the kind kids shake off in a few minutes. There are no cutback blocks, no leading with the head tackles. Players are sufficiently protected from sticks and ball contact.
