This not a place to have a homeless shelter. There many children living in close proximity to this building. Not a very safe place for children or anyone else living in the area.

There are abandoned multi floor buildings in the city itself that could be renovated into the needed facility for the homeless there is abundant resources in walking distance and buses to take them to White Plains. All this without impeding on residential homes.....

A homeless shelter does not belong on a residential neighborhood. I am sure another location can be found and be more appropriate.

I don’t agree on it because it’s not a place for family is only for men and I have a teenager walk to and from school , and I don’t feel safe with drunk men living around the area

I disagree with the idea of building a homeless shelter ; aside from the fact there are residential homes near by , there are also families with children . It would make it unsafe, and unwise to move forward with this idea and I argue against this!

I just relocated to this neighborhood from NYC because of its safe, family-friendly atmosphere. Many of my peers are also looking to move out of the city, and Peekskill is a great option for first time homebuyers like myself. Unfortunately, the existence of a homeless shelter right in the middle of our beautiful neighborhood will be a huge turn-off for potential home buyers. I fear for property values, safety, and comfort if this were to be approved. I am in support of a more functional shelter, just not in the middle of an established residential neighborhood that is beginning to attract young families from NYC.
