This is not acceptable, Wandsworth Council! Get this sorted. What are you doing with our council tax money?

Please introduce food waste recycling and make recycling bins accessible, so there is less trash in the street from broken bags.

22% is disgraceful in 2019, especially when individual households are working so hard on reducing plastic waste. We should be working on this, or changing our council.

We had to wait a long time to get recycling bags, which prevented us from recycling. It's also unclear a lot of the time what Wandsworth council does and don't recycle more awareness and clarity is needed.

This proportion is disgracefully low and we really need to up the % of waste being recycled. I suggest educational materials too as many residents don’t understand what can/can’t be recycled.

Disgraceful that we aren't provided what other boroughs are. They is hardly any recycle points, and the sparse amount of bins there are become mixed with all rubbish. EDUCATION NEEDED

Black bin bags should be illegal especially when there can be a biodegradable option. Non- recyclable packaging should not be allowed to be sold when options such as vegware exist. If plastic is not a legal option then people will be clever with alternatives

Giving households more recycling bags delivered to household would help! And having household recycling bins.

Disgraceful that one of the richest boroughs is not able to support its residents to recycle properly.

I would love to have a food bin/compost. I also think more should be done in therms of reducing waste in general. Get Waitrose to do an package free section, make people aware of the package free shop in clapham as well as the farmers market. Milk and yogurt delivery would be great too.

Surely with all the publicity about the environment this is a basic service of the council. Plus in council estates the communal bins are often overflowing after 4-5 days!

Ones with council should do more to help residents recycle their rubbish. And ensure that bin man sort out the recycling properly.

I'm happy with the recycling bags. However, I can't put out more bags then will fit in my rubbish bin before puck up day because the foxes rip open the bags. So I usually end up with bags in the house because I make sure I recycle what I can - some people may not be happy to do this. I have been wondering about food composting bins - this would be a great addition.

Please encourage the recycling of all the types of plastics. Also to encourage collecting food waste for compost!
