I am an AEA stage manager and I cant afford to BE an Equity member without the 99 seat plan. This will not magically create new union jobs.

I am an equity member 27083. I have worked many of the contracts from LORT to TYA. Actors Equity is making a grave mistake with their position. I am prepared to go on leave from the union. I believe in the right to act, when, where and with whom I please. This will go a long way to making me anti-union. LA is not NY. Maybe we need a different entity 'protecting' actors on the West Coast.

I am am AEA member in good standing. If this passes, I'm cancelling membership as the majority of theatre I have done and seen has been under the 99 seat plan -some if it, the best theatre in this town. This would be a huge, ignorant mistake!

I am an equity member. I believe this plan will hurt actors and small theaters in Los Angeles as well as weaken the union as a whole.

AEA needs to listen, or expect to have a mass exodus. No LA actor committed to the theatre gains from these new proposals.

I have been an Equity member for over 40 years and have worked the gamut from Broadway to dinner theatre. Some of my best work has been in the 99 seat plan. It is a valuable resource for actors to keep their chops up.
