Please offer us some flexibility during this difficult time for those of us who have no guaranteed income.

A chance for you to do something worthwhile for the profession you are the regulator for.

I can’t pay staff let alone anything else. I won’t have a business to pay fees for. I will be bankrupt.

I’ve had to stop work for an unspecified amount of time due to government advice on osteopathy being a person to person contact risk. I’d appreciate suspending the payments as I’ve got no income.

Listen to the members on your register - there is real hardship and you are NOT listening. Be creative with a cashback scenario, or 15 months for 12 or something. DOn't hide behind the lame excuse of 'it's in the statute'

I want to continue working but I am a fairly new graduate with high outgoings and an ever-shrinking patient base as I have had daily patient cancellations. Many thanks in advance for considering the plight of those who haven't worked long enough to sustain such hardship and who do not qualify for insurance in case if loss of income.

Saying that osteopaths who deregister for three months can get a small reduction is woefully inadequate
Many osteopaths want to stay registered so they can continue to promote themselves and the profession, and to provide some form of support to patients via phone or online sessions
Whilst doing this they are likely to have a massive reduction in earnings and ability to see patients
The GOsC should do the right thing here instead of hiding behind the “you can deregister for three months” excuse

Registration no: 9408
One of my clinics has closed
The other one we are receiving lots of cancellations and new bookings are not being made
Home treatments, people have stopped booking

Without being able to physically treat patients for the foresable future I am faced with withdrawing from the register altogether. A reduction or total waiver in fees would certainly help this not become the case.

Offering osteopaths, who are so hardworking, this much needed relief is a wonderful idea! Totally on board

It would be a huge gesture of good will from the "Osteopathy police".

Many of our colleagues will not be able to afford the registration fee while they are not working due to concerns over coronavirus. A suspension of the fee will alleviate financial hardship and help the profession to survive in the long run.
