These seemingly incongruent policies are unacceptable and only undermine the confidence people have in the government's ability to be effective.

The whole province is closed down for the third time, sending students to the province's covid hub is unlawful.

Why on EARTH would they require students to TRAVEL into a HOTSPOT?! Absolutely RIDICULOUS . if 95% of the courses were online, so should this one. Mail students the required materials and get them to send in a video. Don’t make students SUFFER.

THIS IS DISGUSTING and does not follow current public health guidelines. Doug Ford has mandated that if you CAN work from home, you MUST work from home... there is NO reason why sewing cannot be taught online. I HOPE this gets more deserved attention it needs by the public and all media outlets!!!

I am in this program since 2017 , my only class left was this sewing class since winter 2020 and was never able to finish it until now . If its possible to waive it . Im all in for it!

pretty whack that you’re asking anyone to risk their lives/their families lives over the ability to make a shirt. encouraging international travel during a pandemic seems pretty irresponsible!

Really concerning and disappointing how George Brown College is expecting all students to return for a week of in person sewing classes, especially international students just to finish their program and get their degree ? Is the school going to pay for the mandatory self isolation and covid tests that these students will need to do to get into Ontario, just to take a week course to graduate. Huge covid safety concerns. If the school cared about the Heath and safety of their students they would not have this class running. Wave the classes and give these students what they deserve and paid for.

Makes absolutely zeros sense. Do it over skype or zoom if it is that much of a check in the box or millstone. Imagine risking the health and safety of students all over the country to fly into Toronto just to sow something to pass a course they put a significant amount of time and effort in and in some cases already running their own businesses. To top it off the costs and for what 5 days. Whoever came up with this idead needs to find a new job because they are dumb like a stick sorry

it is not right to ask students to come back on campus during a PANDEMIC. Think about safety instead of lining the school’s pockets with MORE money.
