I think any one who does a crime like this should have the same treatment done to them

I do not understand how the law can hold that this is not a felony because there was no "torture". Kane wasn't tortured, being caught in that illegal trap??

a penalty is very much needed here, also voulenterring at a humane society for a year to understand how dogs and cats are loving creatures
