I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam when I first typed it up on my laptop at the kitchen table. It is wild to see people actually talking about this and realizing that sixteen year olds really do have a stake in their own future.

YES. its about time.
my 16 year old knows more about politics than most adults i know. give them their vote!
good luck to everyone trying to get this passed. been waiting for this change for years now
i pay tax and i have to live with the laws the government makes so why do i get no say in who runs the place?? ridiculous.
if they can join the army at 16 they should def be able to vote. what are they afraid of?

it makes no sense that we can work and pay taxes but get zero say in how the country is run. changing this is long overdue
