We believe all 16 year olds should have the right to vote. We believe the minimum age for voting in all elections and referendums in Scotland should be lowered to 16 as soon as possible and we call on the UK Government to legislate on this, both to enfranchise 16-year-olds in Scotland, and to lead the way to extend the franchise across the UK
I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam when I first typed it up on my laptop at the kitchen table. It is wild to see people actually talking about this and realizing that sixteen year olds really do have a stake in their own future.

i pay tax and i have to live with the laws the government makes so why do i get no say in who runs the place?? ridiculous.
