Hello, my fellow subjects. It is I your King, and future president of the Organelle club, Newt the Nucleus Ⅲ. Recently there have been several protests; asking why I should be president as well as the king, and for proof that I am the most important organelle. As a good king, I will answer my unloyal citizens, with evidence. I store all the genetic information inside of me, specifically DNA, and thus protecting it with my life. Inside of me, there are approximately 2 meters of DNA, which of course can not be simply compressed. Instead, I mix it with proteins, and organize it into a precise and stable structure, making sure it suffers no harm. When needed I retrieve, process and then duplicate the genes. And let me tell you; that is no easy task. Those genes have information that is necessary to create proteins, which I, of course, regulate the synthesizing of. On top of that, I have to oversee and manipulate all of your tasks, to make sure that everything flows perfectly. I mainly advise movement, feeding, cell growth, intermediary metabolism and reproduction, most of which is vital for us to keep running. With no disrespect, without me, you would all be running around aimlessly and thus dooming the cell. I am, quite literally, the brains behind of all of this. Now my good organelles I do believe I have answered your protests, and I will be departing to work vigorously on the tasks I have just stated. Farewell,
