Hello class of 2024! We are almost to the finish line, but we have one more year left together. To ensure that the last year together meets great expectations and fun, I will be running for 3L class President.
As many of you know I am currently 2L class president and was formerly 1L Vice President. It goes without saying that I have made it a priority to be an active member of our class since I got here and would love to continue that into our last year.
I have a lot of experience as a member of the last two boards. I have compiled the strengths and weaknesses of the current and last board to use to ensure the next year will be the best we can make it. As a member of the board I have built connections throughout the school and facility that allow me to voice our class needs and wants, which will be very crucial this upcoming year.
As a board member I have always taken the time to attend the BOG meetings to voice class concerns, represent our class, and get to know the different communities and organizations a lot of you are a part of. As President I held consistent meetings for the board to discuss events, design apparel, and any other concerns we felt as a board needed to be discussed.
This year as 3L President, I look to continue this and expand upon it with the board. This past year the board and I tried to host events, but the class participation was extremely low. I would like to change that since this is our last year together. I would love to gauge the types of events the class would like and the best times to hold them. I would also like to collaborate with the SBA board to ensure that the 3L voice is heard when selecting events for this upcoming year.
Furthermore, 3L year comes with a lot of duties such as getting ready for the bar, securing job opportunities, and much more. As President and 3L board, I want to make sure our class has the resources, communication, and support of the accessible faculty and programs at UDM to mitigate any issues that might arise, even if it is just pointing you to the right office or facility member.
Lastly, as 3L President I would like to continue to be a recognizable and reliable person that you can come to with ideas and concerns this upcoming year. I know this last year will be stressful and uneasy for all of us, but it can also be fun and productive. However, it will only be as good as we make it. With your vote I will be the best leader to do this.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the support you all have shown for this upcoming term. This momentum belongs entirely to you because I never expected such a response to my request for a third year.
