We need the Des Moines city council to vote YES to Food Trucks! Please sign and share this petition. We have two weeks before their next vote Monday April 6th! Please make sure to share this and encourage others to sign. It WILL make all the difference!
The momentum right now is actually kind of wild and I honestly keep refreshing the page because it feels like a dream. People really just want better tacos downtown and I love that for all of us so much.

It is your job as our elected officals to hear our voices. I don't believe you are listening at all. As a city we have spoken loud and clear that we want this passed. What I don't understand is why it has not, and why the fees are so high! Please let us be heard!

We need food truck approval without fees that will hinder business development. The River Bend neighborhood is getting another step closer to compete turn around thanks to a business moving in who's owner started in the truck/temp model. Support entrepreneurs.

Vote yes! not only does this give people more options at lower prices but allows people with a dream of owning their own business an opportunity to do so at an affordable start up cost. why ban something that only helps!

Food trucks are playing an increasingly important role in the food culture of cities across the country. If Des Moines wants to keep its status as a destination for young professionals, they need to allow this simple method of cultural expansion!

Food Trucks are a booming industry in many major cities. We want to attract major sports/concerts/conference like other cities and we should embrace food trucks also. They go great outside of the pop up breweries as well as bars that don't sell food.

let's catch up with the rest of the country and get a proper food truck structure going. As a chef, I would like to see a station downtown that people can prepare food for their trucks along with the food truck industry.
