Music is their livelihood! Live performance will die out if they're not given an income that sustains their efforts toward a comfortable quality of life.

Musical artists deserve a living wage. Their talents should not be downplayed, we compensate great athletes why not our artists. The arts transforms the community. When the arts flourish we all benefit.

These musicians have spent their entire lives to bw the players they are now. Thousands of dollars for lessons, schooling, upgrades, repairs. Countless hours practicing, fine tuning. They deserve fair pay!

I have lived in Orange County for more than 40 years during which time it has gone from a cultural desert to one with an orchestra of the caliber of the Pacific Symphony. We should all be proud and support this institution and its members in any way possible.

Many years ago I was a member of this wonderful orchestra and stellar trombone section. The main reasons I didn't stay was what the current membership is working hard to change!!

I completely support the Pacific Symphony. We live in one of the most affluent county in the country. These musicians deserve fair compensation and a stable salary.

I agree with the statements in this petition, but I also want to add that the people of orange county need to step up and sell out every event that this world class orchestra has to provide. We are privileged to have an orchestra of this caliber so close to our houses, and we need to support it as such. Management, musicians, and patrons need to all work together to keep live music alive in our community. We appreciate the talent of our musicians, the management are good people who want to see the Pacific Symphont flourish, and it's the patrons' job to support the symphony to give management the appropriate resources to compensate the top musicians in the world appropriately. If we do, I trust (and expect) that management will do what's necessary to support our musicians. Everyone, step up!

I support what the musicians need - they are a world class symphony with less than working class wages. The management has what they need, now its time to provide those that provide the music to the thousands that go to see them their fair share.

I support the musicians of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in their desire to attain a living wage in Orange County. I feel they bring beauty, education and much needed stress relief to Orange County, and am proud to live in a county that is home to this world-class organization. Pacific Symphony needs a leader who has a vision on how to build an artistic community, not tear it apart. There is plenty of money in OC to support the orchestra. Look at what Debrorah Borda was able to do in LA in less than 15 years. In can be done with the right leadership. The PSO deserves leadership who is willing to step up and build what it takes to have a strong, virbrant music community!
