My daughter go's to this school and am totally disgusted by the bullying going on

I cannot believe how long this has gone on for. For a headteacher to lose respect of so many staff it is impossible for her to continue.

This needs to end now

I have a younger sister that goes to this school, I can see the effects that all this nonsense has on her. She loves the teachers that are out on strike, and would like to see them have a fair hearing. She never sees the head teacher during the course of the day.

I can’t believe what is going on here! It’s not difficult really is it to get rid of the two people causing all the issues? Why can’t the HT and CoG stand down and let an investigation take place and if there is nothing to hid they have nothing to worry about do they? It’s a total disgrace how the girls have been treated and they have been let down. Why can’t the diocese get involved? I am fed up of reading the same old crap from the HT and CoG! How would they feel if this was happening to their children?

The head teacher and COG couldn’t work with the school teachers to prevent this prolonged on going strike. Shows they don’t care for our children’s future.

The BoG and HT could have prevented the strike. Why did they choose to sweep the problems under the carpet. Now our girls are being heavily disadvantaged because they are not receiving a service they are entitled to. The BoG have shown us today that they are biased and seem to be taking the HT's side. I don't understand why Barry has chosen to compleletely ignore some requests made by some parents for the HT to step aside whilst an independent investigation is carried out. The chair, Barry assured the parents at the meeting he chaired that he would take everything that was said into consideration to negotiate with the union so the strike can be called off. What did he then do? Misrepresent information.

The Children's education should come first

As a recent past parent If the school this ‘Head’ and the Governors proved them served to be inadequate and unfair. The previous head Mrs Slonecki was a wonderful leader that the girl’s respected, the girls did not respect Mrs Conelly at all, maybe why she feels it fit to bully her teachers? She needs to do the right thing and step down. New governors too. The girl’s need stability! Those teachers need to be valued.

I have followed what has occurred at the school and consider the behaviour of the the Head of the school and Head of the board to be appalling. I support the staff totally in this endeavour.

This whole debacle could have been avoided had the chair of governors been on top of things from the first signs of trouble. 34 letters of complaints he described as "frivolous" when questioned by parents. Different versions of what happened being given by the chair leaves me with little faith in his integrity. His attitude when talking to parents in our recent meeting was uncaring. When parents spoke of how their children were stressed and not sleeping, his response was asking the lines of neither was he! Time for a change at the top.

As everyone else here this issue should have been dealt with long ago and the fact that strikes had to happened now gone over a month is not acceptable where could have been avoided makes me very disappointed and to be hobest quite angry.

A friend of mine went to the strike and spoke to some of the teachers out there. How they treated my daughter's head of year teacher was appalling. She has been amazing for my daughter and all the teachers here work so hard. Shame on the head and the governors who are letting this great school become something unrecognisable. They need to let people that care do the job because they obviously dont.

We fully support the striking teachers and support staff. These long standing members of staff would not be taking such serious action without grave cause for concern. Let's hope this can be resolved before Christmas so the pupils can go back to school and the mental health and wellbeing of those members of staff affected can start to repair. Suspended members of staff have been treated appallingly and there is no coincidence that they happen to be some of those most loved and respected by pupils, parents and colleagues - also those who stood up for what is right. Having a member of staff suspended for weeks, and then reinstated, with the independent investigating body finding no cause for concern whatsoever, speaks volumes. The teaching and support staff are the heart of St Catherine's and they make this the school the amazing educational establishment that parents and pupils know it to be.

Disgrace!!

Staff and students have been treated appallingly by the current Head, Senior Leadership and Governing Body of St Catherine's. Members of staff no longer feel valued and will start to abandon this school if this continues much longer. The only reason they are standing up to this bullying behaviour is because they care about the school community and the pupils (both current and future). The Head refuses to engage with staff on any level whilst at the same time sending out page after page of drivel to parents. Parents just want their girls back in school and staff just want their community to go back to its once positive, engaging and supportive environment. Schools are run on enthusiasm and good will. This has been destroyed by those who currently run the school. How dare they believe that they can continue to behave in this way without scrutiny.

Look around. Do we see good school teachers out of school protesting? Something seriously wrong here! Our kids deserve teachers who feel secure & supported in their job. The girls love the staff on strike. This shows us a lot. I say, stand firm. Lots ate behind you.
