This is ridiculous, why on earth do we want slower speed limits, it's slow enough as it is, and with the fantastic breaking system we have in the modern day vehicle why are we going backwards, we should be increasing the speed limits espically on the coast roads. I would understand if there has been a lot of accidents and deaths, but there hasn't at all, so why are you trying to fix something that isn't broken!, stop wasting more money and leave alone!!

This is an incredibly unnecessary change which will make no difference to the number of fatalities on guernseys roads and will certainly not encourage me to use public transport or bicycle!

Another stupid idea to ruin the island by the states. Bring back unpaid states members from the business community with some brains.

Really stupid and a waste of money and police time. They will want to go back to horse and cart next. I don't drive but I got hit by a cyclist 2years ago on the foot path,

I just for the life of me cannot understand why people in positions of power have to fix what isn’t broken,
If they wish to be a service to the community get rid of the curtesy crossing outside the Albion before some unfortunate soul is killed !
But they won’t till someone is killed because they can’t admit it was a white elephant from the start .

I would like the E & I Committee to be removed asap please. The way that this change has been implemented (acquiring the posts BEFORE the consultation was even held) is appalling.
