No respect left for this bunch, the consultation was a farce. The pre-ordered signs proved it was a done deal.

Unnecessary. 25 mph in small roads is fine but having that in most areas of the island is silly . I would like to see some speed bumps and a crossing put in st Martins from MS to the green hut because that’s where we see and here people speeding up and down everyday ,police would have a field day making some stops on this road. We’ve had loads of crashes on this road because of people driving to fast it needs to be sorted .

Not only is it damaging to vehicles driving that slow it’s also damaging to the environment as vehicles moving that slowly everywhere create more pollution. When was the last fatal accident? It’s a very rare occurrence. Why fix what’s not broken!

Not healthy on emissions for cars if we keep to 25 all the time

If the states could provide solid information on why they decided to lower the speed on these roads then I’d back the change. Sadly the only reason they’ve done it is to pump more money out of the road user, plus putting more work on a understaffed Police force in trying to Police the new speed limits.

Many deputies do not listen to what the public want but those in this committee appear to be totally deaf....
