Total agreement with Leon Gallienne. This is not the way to prevent speedsters and accidents.

Ludicrous decision on speed limits. For a start modern cars are safer and easily stop at 35mph. And people who are against vehicles need to wise up. There's going to be more on the roads as time goes on. Its progress not regression that this speed limit idea is.

Time and again this group have shown a disdainful attitude towards the islanders, and the vehicles of any motor variety.

A dangerous plan, this will cause more problems than it will solve. Please listen to your public, move over and let educated people, able to make sensible decisions, take over and bring our island back from the brink.!

Many roads are not safe but changing speed limits to 25 will not make them safer, the roads are unsafe because the speed limits are ignored by many and some drivers are downright dangerous and have no common sense

What a ridiculous proposal, it should stay at 35 and could even go to 40 on some roads. Crawling along at 25 isn’t environmentally friendly. How are they going to slow down the cyclists too, some of them can gather some speed!!

Keep things the way they are. 25 is too slow in certain areas especially main roads.
