Are Guernsey roads to be gridlocked where drivers are unable to overtake cyclists for fear of exceeding this overbearing restriction requiring attention to speed of greater importance than driving with proper attention to ever changing road conditions. Traffic signals preventing the smooth movement of traffic cause unnecessary queueing and bunching of traffic. Many of the roads listed for having their limits reduced are unsuited to even 25mph for safe driving negating the necessity for any need to change speed limits. Major roads at busy times will be congested and consequently slow the traffic. Are E & I suggesting we are all inconsiderate road users?

Ignoring the electorate, stop wasting valuable funds, where they should be used to repair L'Ancresse sea wall, with its existing integrity. Also get going and repair/rebuild
the Fermain sea wall before erosion threatens the cliff path. A gem totally ignored for 5 years.

Not only the unnecessary speed limit, we want to keep the L'Ancresse wall and have the Fermain wall repaired. They are not respecting the needs of the Island.

This has been pushed ahead irrespective of the people of Guernseys views not being listened to, this is not a democratic move by the committee and proves how out of touch they are with the majority view . The deputies should resign immediately as they are refusing to take notice of the electorate. Dangerous move .

Cars and more importantly breaking systems have moved forward for safety. Only our states would like us to move backwards. They charge us over 60p tax per litre of fuel. And expect us to go slower than a bicycle

More energy should be directed at improving the flow of traffic.
