Students must provide their FULL NAME and i******* number.
IF YOU DO NOT PUT YOUR STUDENT NUMBER IN THE COMMENTS YOUR SIGNATURE WILL NOT COUNT.
This is due to the candidates having several complaints against them for behaviour that can be seen as harassment during the election process.
This directly affects not only us, but future students and creates an unsafe environment that someone who could be seen as such a role model does not understand their behaviour as being unacceptable.
MOTIONS OF NO CONFIDENCE OR CENSURE9.1. A motion of no confidence may be raised in relation to the actions, past or present, and/or stated intentions of Union Officers or Trustees.
9.2. If a petition is signed on-line by 25 students requiring a vote of no confidence in an Officer or a Trustee then the motion will be put to the next General Meeting as described in Schedule 9. Such a motion does not require a proposer and seconder.
9.3. For such a motion to be passed, a two-thirds majority of those present and entitled to vote at the General Meeting must vote in favour of it.
9.4. A motion of Censure shall relate to a specific incident in which a Union Officer has been involved and shall be recorded in the minutes

Joseph was continuingly harrassing students dispite me asking him to leave the rooms specifically allocated to design students by bypassing the door locks and following people into the room. He then proceeded to vote for himself on everyone's machines in the room. Encouraging others to change their votes.
Second year in a row that he's broken the rules and harassed students. His argument of 'they could have just changed their votes' isn't valid as it clearly said on the voting page that changing votes would NOT lost votes already cast. Disgusting behaviour by SUBU to accept his appeal after he was disqualified!
Had many complaints as a rep about Joseph's behaviour; complaints about being forced to vote for him, or him voting for himself on their devices after verbally insisting that they had him their phones or let him vote on their computers
I7214976 This candidate harassed me everyday begging for me to vote. I stated i had already voted and he tried to grab me and told me to check again. Another incident followed when he followed me and another student around campus late at night. Not fit for the role. Represents education but harassment of students
i7627609 To let a person who so blatantly broke the rules of the election be allowed to represent our uni on the student union would set a bad precedent for future candidates and ruin the reputation of our student union.

i7672983 - After hearing about the appointed VPE's approach of 'campaigning', I don't see how the disqualification was ever overturned??? And how anyone at BU allowed for that to happen in the first place.

Harassment of students has lead to people feeling forced to vote rather than voting for a candidate they can believe in. I will not stand for a union that supports cheating and harassment and believe it is in the best interest of the students union that this candidate is not allowed the role of VP Education as they are not fit for purpose.
