Vote NO to Winner's Chapel International near Crofton, MD

I don't think this is the normal "please don't build this thing where we live" protest. From what I've read of the plans, it seems so ludicrously unsuitable for the location—even with the laughable attempts to skirt around zoning regs and the actual kind of infrastructure it would take to support such a facility. Can't imagine a thinking person who would look at this and consider it a good idea.

No more building in Crofton and Gambrills, traffic is already HORRIBLE!!

Don't need all this traffic congestion in this area.....

No building of this size should be authorized to build on a rural area. The Infrastructure doesn't exist and will impact the environment.

Congestion on Route 3 is already untenable. The county simply points to the state to say that it's a state highway and requires state planning and funds in order to do anything. I would support any moratorium on new growth in the Crofton Gambrills area until the infrastructure deficiency is addressed

Please no more....traffic is horrific as it is.

Building this mega church in Crofton makes absolutely no sense. Please don't let this happen.

The traffic in Crofton has become a nightmare as it is and building anything of this magnitude on 450 is ridiculous!!

Horrible location for this "church". And horrible organization that calls themselves a "church".

This will end up being a traffic nightmare! What genius picked this location for such a large project?

I am very concerned about the impact a facility this large will have on the acquifer. It is absurd to think the local environment can handle a building this big if it only uses well and septic. I hope the Maryland Department of the Environment is on the alert. The church will need to spend a LOT of money to mitigate the potential harm they will cause.

This is not a church, it is a 12 hour a day, 7days a week operation. It will overwhelm the community services and roads

While we recognize that this project is likely to be very lucrative for delegate Parrott and his company, we are not his constituents and unfortunately, he does not have to answer to the residents of Crofton. Prioritizing his company's well-being over the well-being of the residents of Crofton should not be tolerated by the elected leadership in Anne Arundel County.

Please do not permit this church to be built on Cox Road. The traffic on 450 is already problematic during the Renaissance festival, as well as morning and evening rush hour. The church indicated they would be using it only on Sundays, but that is not reasonable. All of the other Crofton churches have meetings, etc. during the week and I'm sure this one will also. This church does not belong in this location. I'm not sure why they aren't building this church in Lanham, where they currently have their church.

This will be a burden in terms of congested traffic, plans for water and sewer that do not meet environmental standards. We have many houses of worship in the Crofton area, including one very large congregation on Route 424 that is already creating congestion in the area. Please do not allow this to happen.

No need for a church of this size in a residential neighborhood of which their are none of their parishners. A Traffic nightmare in an already dangerous stretch of road. No way that this could come out good for the Crofton/Gambrill area!

Building such a huge facility at this location will cause major traffic delays on Route 450 that cannot be accommodated without widening Route 450 to allow building acceleration and deceleration lanes. Such building will require current homeowners to sell their property. This is an outrage. I say NO to Winner's Chapel International!

no no no ...bad idea ...we cannot handle any more traffic in this area ...not to mention the environmental issues at hand ...septic, well, appropriate run off, etc .....Our Community will be at risk if this construction were to take place .....
