I have never dealt such a rude and disrespectful adminstrator. When I tried to have a conversation with her over the phone she talked to me as if I was
Child... Her demeanor towards me I wouldnt even let her teach my child ... Then hangs up on me:. She deserves no raise that should go towards school activities . She ran the EH school system into the ground ... Now wonder why parents are looking for schooling outside of the district.

She is the main reason I, as well as others are now paying a high out of town tuition for our children's education. I would rather work my 2 jobs , as well as my husband having longer business hours to ensure my child is being educated, has a choice of after school activities, and be in a school where teachers are not in danger of being there today, and could easily be gone tomorrow. This "woman" is not, or ever has been for our children, or even for the town. She's in it for the paycheck. Didn't anyone check her employment records? It is public knowledge that she messed up other towns as well, aka Waterbury. My children will never return to East Haven Public school system until this "woman" is gone. I will continue to pay this outrageous amount to his current school, at least I know he is being educated.

Vote NO for Dr. Bonner! She wants an increase and then she wants to get rid off our teachers! Really!! She 's been taking the seat as superintendent and putting together a reconfiguration - what a waste of our tax dollars!

Its about time for East Haven change for the good! Too many years of going backwards. She has Done absolutely nothing to benefit the east haven school system!

The very second that Positions & Programs are announced to be cut and the person who heads this part of our educational system asks for a raise, their contract should not be approved for renewal!! Education should be the last thing to ever get cut in this Country !!

We are just totally disgusted and tired of the "Who is in with who in EH's districts education boards......" Portia's request for a raise should not be granted....and as rumor has it the person who would get her job if she quit would be like going from the frying pan to the fire!! EH STUDENTS in the school system deserve the money she wants....tennis courts embarrassing!!!! I pay taxes...why is there an Academy program right next to Jmms thats paid for by my taxes yet my kids lottery ticket to attend has no chance because we all know it's "Who you know"...It's the TEACHERS and PARAPROFFESIONALS OF OUR EH SCHOOL SYSTEM THAT KEEP MOST OF US HAPPY!!! THE TEACHERS DESERVE THE RAISE NOT PORTIA!!!!!

I needed help for my daughter who is having very bad panic and anxiety. Not only wouldn't she help with any alternative but she also talked very terrible to me in front of her and scared her and made her cry. She is a terrible representative for our school system. Please get someone new.
