you cannot ask for a raise or extension, while cutting necessary programs and other staff members. If programs and staffing has to get cut, ALL raises should be frozen!

She is ruining our schools and cutting programs for the children while asking for a raise. She provides absolutely no support to the students, parents or even the teachers in this town. should they have an issue with their principal, they do not feel that they can approach her about it. Anyone who wants better for their child is being forced to pull their kids out of our schools. It is very sad that we are choosing inner city schools over our own.

She has no right to be asking for an extension based upon her record as superintendent. She has the audacity to ask for a raise as well during a time when the State is decreasing funding to the BOE and laying off over 3000 people.

One huge reason we moved our family out of state was because the horrific schools in East Haven. The elementary schools are great but after that, good luck. The state of the school system in East Haven is driving people out to seek better. East Haven home values decline terribly and this woman is partially to blame. She did nothing to better our schools. Absolutely nothing. Kick her to the curb please!

I do not think we should extend the contract of an educator who is proposing cuts that effect the students but asks for a pay increase.

Bonner has done nothing but cut programs, fire staff, and move teachers from school to school when it wasn't necessary. I lost my own guidance counselor my SENIOR YEAR so she could move him to the Academy just to hire another social worker at the high school... This woman has completely messed up my senior year by pulling out my guidance counselor because I had no one to go to except on Fridays... All she cares about is a hefty paycheck for herself. Get her out.
