I am an affiliate marketer through my blog as a full-time income. I am a single mom and this will impact me significantly if passed. It has already affected my income due to programs not paying me for sales I earn in other nexus states. It is damaging to my personal business and will result in less income taxes being paid to Utah as well.

My own affiliate (through The Social Geek and #GeekGreens) revenue will be affected if ANY form of this bill is passed. This hurts more than just affiliates - it hurts those with Amazon AWS hosting, those with any sort of affiliation with Amazon and other major e-tailers in Utah. It will be a net LOSS for Utah in income tax alone, despite the increased sales tax. Will you please sign this petition in my (and many others') support?

Good intentions dependent on 3rd parties to help 1st and 2nd parties, but create hardship for 3rd parties, can only drive the 3rd party away add they have no incentive. The 1st and 2nd parties are then worse off.

The affiliate nexus tax and click-thru nexus tax is bad for Utah affiliate marketers and bloggers. It's also not right to make out-of-state retailers pay Utah state sales tax.

We need to look at all those "unintended consequences" that will hurt the people of this state - namely more taxes in this instance.
