Re district your elementary schools lines to address over crowding under the current option 1. Place the 6th grade back into your elementary schools. (No need to reinvent the wheel). Everyone realizes that Sylvania Ohio is close to becoming land locked. Adjust and account for future educational needs accordingly. Our school system owns several properties that can manage an upgrade/replacement to fit current needs. 3 Junior Highschools East To West that feed into 2 Highschools North & South. We are not looking for a drastic change save our tax dollars and use common sense. We vote for #1. That includes the entire family, Proud Sylvania residents since 1942.

A loss of maplewood elementary is a loss for our neighborhood and entire Sylvania community. Property values will decrease, future levy efforts will fail, and the safety of our children traveling across town is concerning. Uneccesary costs in renovations and increased costs in busing are not appropriate uses of our tax dollars. No on 3!

Proposed schools much too far from home. Will put an incredible strain on our family. 4 different schools for one child's Sylvania School education!? With all due respect, that makes no sense to the families/students effected.

Option 3 is terrible. Moving from school to school every 2 years is ridiculous.
Option 1 makes more sense.

I live in that small section by Sylvania and Talmadge that would change from Whiteford to strannahan. I am upset about the longer commute times for my children. I have also not heard a reason why we are looking to restructure 5-8 grades. It seems like it will cost the district more money between bussing kids to schools further away and renovating buildings.

Option #3 in the redistricting options does not make sense. More information needs to be provided to the citizens of Sylvania before a decision is made.

I absolutely do not want my children moved from Northview to Southview as the high school. The entire reason I purchased the home where I did was for the schools. Highland, McCord and Northview

A strong No to Option 3! Neighborhood elementary schools are vital to a community and its neighborhoods. They are Sylvania's strength. Converting Maplewood would be an insult to the taxpayers and voters who approved the bond issue to build Maplewood and who approved the recent school levy.
