This whole project is a load of hot steaming crap! If you want to build a solar farm take the stupid panels back to Utah. Plenty of bright sunshine out in the hot desert.

Solar panels apparently work. Just not here. Out in the west of the country there are many of these. Just not near homes. This is a square peg trying to be crammed in a round hole. Don’t allow this here. Thank you.

The solar project would destroy acres and acres of oxygen-producing trees and habitats for animals. Instead of leveling sites that vary as much as 130 feet, why aren't they finding flatter land to start with so they do not waste millions of gallons of water while compacting the regraded soil. The solar panels will create a heat island, if there's a fire, fire engines don't even have roads to get to all the panels and it could burn out of control to the 2700 houses around it and release toxic substances. Chesapeake Bay watershed should cover this as cadmium and toxic substances can leak into the five streams, creeks, well water and drinking water reservoirs from the solar panels. DC arc fires burn up to 5400 degrees more than half the temperature of the surface of the sun. Property values would go down and taxes would go up. It would be impossible to ever clean up and reclaim that acreage!!

This is one of the grossest examples of mismanagement of the public trust and welfare in the name of renewable energy I have ever seen!

Our signatures should matter. Our opinions should matter. This is bad for the county. The land will be forever ruined.
