This solar power brings no added value to the residents of our county and we certainly do not support having this in our backyard.

I strongly oppose the sPower solar plant in Western Spotsylvania County. This is bad for the residents nearby. No other solar plant anywhere near the size of this one, anywhere in the country, is closer than 5,000 feet from residential property. This one proposes to be 50-350 feet. Unacceptable!! County residents should NOT have to pay increased taxes for infrastructure (water lines) and decommissioning. This is potentially unsafe re toxic materials leaching from panels damaged by storms or earthquakes creating hazardous run off affecting streams, groundwater and surrounding wells. Bad on so many levels. VOTE NO!!
