There are so many reasons why this solar power plant is not good for Spotsylvania but the major one for me is that there are no other facilities of this size near residentual areas...please don’t make us guinea pigs based on campaign promises made by the last two governors!

This monstrosity is wrong on all levels. This project belongs somewhere where the sun shines for 300 plus days a year and doesn't take away from Spotsylvania County financially, environmentally, historically, and our overall quality of life. Take a stand BOS and vote NO!

If our country officials CANNOT PROMISE US WITH COMPLETE CERTAINTY that the water supply will not be contaminated, that our health will not be adversely affected, that natural disasters on the solar field will not leach poisons into the soil, that our homes will not be diminished in value, that homeowners will not have to view this monstrosity from their homes,. ... if each person making these decisions cannot honestly say none of these things could happen, then they must say NO to this project that is too large and far to close to homes.

The MASSIVE scale and deficiencies of this proposal are an abomination and insult for Spotsylvania and its citizens! As our elected representatives, please provide the protections needed for our safety and to protect the value of our homes, especially keeping the size of the project to no more than TWICE the next largest solar facility in Virginia (IE 200MW total.) If SPower can't live with that limitation and guarantee their performance by written binding contract for the life of the project, do your elected duty and vote NO. Thank you.
