Leave our trees and neighborhood alone! This is farm land, solar power is not farming. Microsoft does t care about Spotsylvania.

Not good for Spotsy Co. Please preserve this land. Protect neighbors & their property values, wild life, beauty of historic area, & tourism. 5000 acres and only creates approx. 30 jobs. INSANE! PLEASE NO SOLAR FARM IN SPOTSYLVANIA! Thank you.

I'm totally against removing all those trees and taking up so many acres of the countryside around here. The wildlife need a place to live, too. There are just too many reasons not to have this here. Vote No!

I am against the planned sPower solar project for Spotsylvania as it currently stands. While I support more green energy, I am opposed to clearing additional forest land for this project.

VOTE NO and PROTECT SPOTSYLVANIA! This solar plant is detrimental to Spotsylvania County! It is a disaster economically, environmentally, and a danger to our public health and safety. As a county, we will lose property values, revenue, potential economic activity, and thousands of acres of life-inhabiting forests. All this with the risk of fire hazards, which we are not designed to handle. The tax-paying citizens of historic Spotsylvania County don't deserve to be taken advantage while not even benefitting from such a horrible idea with multiple implications.

I am absolutely AGAINST this power plant being built in our beautiful, peaceful, rural community in Spotsylvania. For all the reasons listed in the flyer, but mostly because of the public health & safety issues, as well as the massive size of this EYESORE power plant, which would require massive deforestation and loss of habitat to local wildlife. That simply must NOT happen! This type of plant should NEVER be built within populated areas, or even areas that would lose enormous swaths of forests & natural habitats or put people's health or safety at risk. They should remain in isolated, barren areas like the desert, away from civilization. We Virginians love our state because it still retains a large amount of natural beauty, lush forests, unpolluted rivers & lakes. It's also quiet & peaceful here which adds to the appeal, not to mention the historic aspect of the area. Lastly, our county doesn't need loss of economic or tax revenue, or higher electric rates and taxes. Please DO NOT bring this huge power plant to Spotsylvania... seek life elsewhere!

This is not good for the county and it's wildlife. Clear cutting thousands of acres of trees is not a good solution for global warming. Solar is supposed to be an alternative power source. If this project is approved, I will be moving out of this state. The solar farm will ruin the area!!!

California's largest county has banned the construction of large solar and wind farms on more than 1 million acres of private land, bending to the will of residents who say they don’t want renewable energy projects industrializing their rural desert communities northeast of Los Angeles. We should do the same!

No to the solar project. Losing 70% of our green rolling hills and forest land for corporate profit? No, we don't want this for the environment in our community.
