Whereas builder DR Horton has submitted petition Z21-006 to rezone the plot of land at the entrance of the Oakley Township subdivision, for the purposes of building townhomes at the entrance of said community.
We the undersigned, petition the South Fulton Zoning Commission and City Council to deny the rezoning application.

DR Horton thinks they can just walk into our neighborhood and steamroll us with these townhomes. We are almost at 100 signatures to show the Zoning Commission that we will not back down. Get those names in now so we can stop this greedy development before it starts.

It was said that space would be used for shops and other businesses, possibly restaurants to complete this master planned community. I never remember there being talk of townhomes there. I say no to the building of townhomes at the entrance of Oakley Township
Do not like the idea at all. Our community isn’t as clean as it was last year. People moving in disregarding cleanliness , throwing plates, cups, paper and trash along the streets, especially on Mastiff and RedHawkRun. Townhouses may increase the problem. Will change the look of our entrance.
Please deny DR Horton’s plans to build townhomes at the front of our community. Our community is great as is, it’s already huge and it’s extremely peaceful to not have so much activity at our front entrance. This has the potential to decrease our property value, and increase traffic, disturbing the current pattern. Please deny this petition!
The building of more homes is a violation of subdivisions laws ; in reference to schools . In other words noting a cluster of townhomes is hazardous for public safety to children in a classroom setting .
Please no townhouse up front.The entrance is already tight and the traffic there is a monster during peak travel times. A natural green space and walking area would add aesthetic value and promote a healthy environment for current and future residents.
No to rezoning.
