Chronic pain patients seeking treatment through a pain management clinic are monitored closely through random Urine/oral drug screens, random pill counts, checking their DOPL report with every visit, and each patient is held to a pain contract. I am opposed to this bill as it is punishing the chronic pain patients who follow the rules through close monitoring, and allo s the insurance companies to effectively practice medicine without a license.
I cannot believe you think for one minute people on chronic intractable pain doesn't need these to Live our lives. Do you understand what this is going to do to all of us? May as well just lay down and die or blow our brains out, especially since I w who had been on these for any length of time. Be careful, chronic pain might come and take your normal way of living.opiods do help. Yes we have a responsibility while taking them. Speaking for myself and others that I do know that is in this situation cannot help this problem but options, they do help we take them responsibly, what more do you want from me us,? Please let us know things that we have done or tried believd me this is not our fault nor our choice to live this. Please do not take our free agency away from us. Most of us are responsible so what do you more do you want?
Please leave medication decisions to the physicians! That is what they are trained to do!!
I vote NO on HB 90! All this is doing is punishing those with real chronic pain. You are telling them they dont matter. Its not right.

I don't believe that this a fair bill to be approved not everyone that takes pain medication is an addict and this bill in so many words is implying that everyone that everyone that takes pain medication is an addict in the negative sense. My mother was in a bad accident about twelve years ago and could no longer work as a result of this. She is in constant pain from this and is possibly looking at hip and knee replacement to help ease the pain if possible, and she is not an addict. In conclusion cases like this will be affected adversely by this bill if approved. This is not a fair bill to be passed. Please reconsider and vote "NO" to this bill!!!!
