Please allocate the money to the assistants. They were vital to my growth as a student, and I can't imagine my learning experience without them.

We voted to spend money for a specific purpose. Previous school boards have recognized the bottom line budget but nevertheless honored the wishes of the voters.

Until we know that the school district's new model will work, we need to keep the assistants. We cannot afford to risk these students' educational foundation.

Due to new curriculum standards, it is imperative to have another adult in the classroom to meet the diverse needs of all students. Assistants are vital in helping children in many different ways; taking small groups for reading or math, extra reinforment for critical behavior issues, extra supervision and most importantly when a child needs an extra ear for someone to listen to them. Classrooms are challenging in their own right and having an assitant is a great way to provide the extra help on a daily basis, especially with the younger ones. Even just getting out to recess can be an event within it's self. Please consider keeping all instructional aides IN the classroom. Not as recess supervisors, teachers can do that. Instructional aides are just that given and extra "wing" to children who need help to "fly". Sincerely, Bonnie H. Murphy

The people of Londonderry made it clear by voting for this articld. I think both the superintendent and school board need to remember who they work for and represent.

My children have gone through the Londonderry school system and graduated from it and even though I no longer have children in our system I feel the need of assistance is greatly needed children need this support now more then ever and with large class sizes no to have an assistant would be wrong.
